Bacon Flavored Whiskey:
750 ml. bottle of whiskey or maple whiskey
1/3 C. bacon fat
Mix one 750 ml. bottle of whiskey or maple whiskey with 1/3 C. bacon fat. Mix well and let sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours. After 12 hours, place in the freezer to congeal the fat. Remove fat and pour bacon whiskey through a fine sieve into the bottle.
Bacon Old Fashioned:
Bacon flavored whiskey
6 oz. fresh orange juice
4 T black walnut bitters
To the whole bottle of bacon whiskey, add 6 oz. of fresh orange juice and 4 T. black walnut bitters. Pour 4 oz. over ice and garnish with a crisp bacon strip.
